HOW TO GET THERE

By plane with direct flights with Iberia and Aegean, otherwise with a stopover with Alitalia. Alternatively you can travel by car through Italy.

TRANSPORTATION

You should choose to walk as it is a really beautiful city. You certainly can get everywhere by the subway, which has several lines to cover all your needs wherever your destination. If you are planning to visit for several days, then you should issue a ticket for unlimited travel. The bus network is also very convenient since the service continues at night. You can also ride the lift which connects the beach with Hill Monjuik.

MONUMENTS

If you are a lover of architecture then this is destination worth visiting. Gaudi has surely changed the image of the whole city, having left a strong personal touch. Do visit Gaudi's Park, the La Sagrada Familia, and the building of La Pedrera!

MUSEUMS

Worth visiting is the football stadium of Barcelona, the legendary Camp Nou, and the museum that includes in detail the glorious history of the renowned team! The National Museum of Art at the Palau National Museum and the Picasso museum are some of the key things you must see. There are also several smaller museums which are also very interesting, like the Museu de la magia (which is devoted to magic), the Museu de la Chocolate (which offers product testing!), The Museu del Perfoum (a collection of fragrances from the Roman era until today), and finally the Museu del Kalsat (with shoes from different eras and shoes from celebrities).

ABOUT THE CITY

This is a beautiful city well worth visiting and dedicating time to discover it! There are many beautiful places to visit. You should definitely walk on La Rambla and Plaza Catalunya, while gazing at the street performers and shop endlessly. You'll end up on the beach with a spectacular and beautiful huge platform built for the Olympic Games in 1992. Dedicate a day for shopping and go to El corte ingles, one of the biggest shopping malls with a great variety of brands. See the Park Guell, enjoy the view, listen to beautiful flamenco music and drink plenty of sangria.
