LOCATION
Located in the Western Cyclades and is about 80 nautical miles from Piraeus.
HOW TO GET THERE
You can go from Piraeus by ferry or speed boat with Ventouris Sea Lines, Zante Ferries and Aegean Speed Lines.
TRANSPORTATION
Sifnos is generally considered a medium sized island. This means you can easily travel with a motorbike, and do not necessarily need a car. Public transport is well organized and consistent, so the choice is yours.
BEACHES
Sifnos as an island does not have well known beaches. The most known, however,is that of Chrysopigi, the famous church dominates the landscape, the picturesque castle Seralia, and Platis Gialos, which is the most organized and perhaps the biggest beach. Alternatively there are very small and picturesque bays which are waiting to be discovered.
ENTERTAINMENT
This picturesque island of Cyclades is famous for the beautiful people it attracts but also for its vivid night entertainment. Apollonia, the main town of the island, is where all the shops are gathered that offers people entertainment until the early hours. Discover all the narrow streets that are there and you can be sure that this way you will visit all the bars.
