Aegean Airlines announced new destinations and the frequency increase of existing routes

Aegean Airlines announced the launch for a new destinations and the frequency increase of existing routes regarding flights from Athens, Thessaloniki and Larnaca. 
 
Thessaloniki´s airport is with 5 Airbus A320 another base for Aegean Airlines and beginning with this summer period also Larnaca´s airport is going to be a basis for 3 Airbus A320.  
 
With these changes, the Aegean Airlines will fly to 35 destinations abroad and to 24 destintions in Greece. 

 
The new timeplan for Aegean is including:
 
New destinations:
  • Athens - Moscow 4 weekly flights from 29/04/2011 
  • Athens - Bologna 3 weekly flights
  • Thessaloniki - Moscow 4 weekly flights from 29/04/2011
  • Thessaloniki - Paris 3 weekly flights
  • Larnaca - London 1 daily flights
  • Larnaca - Heraklios 3 weekly flights every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday
  • Larnaca - Rhodes 2 weekly flights from 24/06/2011 - 04/09/2011 
  • Larnaca - Mykonos 2 weekly flights from 25/06/2011 - 10/09/2011
  • Larnaca - Santorini 1 weekly flight from 28/06/2011 - 06/09/2011
  • Larnaca - Chania 1 weekly flight from 29/06/2011 - 31/08/2011
  • Larnaca - Kos 1weekly flight from 19/07/2011 - 30/08/2011
 
Frequency increase of existing routes:
  • Athens - London 4 daily flights
  • Athens - Paris 3 daily flights
  • Athens - Rome 3 daily flights
  • Athens - Brussels 2 daily flights
  • Athens - Madrid 3 additional daily flights
  • Athens - Barcelona 3 additional daily flights
  • Athens - Tel Aviv bigger aircraft AIRBUS A321 with 195 seats
  • Athens - Venice 4 weekly flights
  • Larnaca - Thessaloniki total 9 -11 weekly flights
