Transavia Airlines is a low-cost company and was founded by a Belgium and a Scottish private company end of 1965 under the name Transavia Limburg NV. Since December 2004, the company operates in the market with new name Transavia Airlines and has its headquarters at the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
