LOCATION
The island of Symi belongs in the Dodecanese and is located between
Rhodes and Turkey.
HOW TO GET THERE
You can get there by ferry from Piraeus or Rhodes. The boat trips to Symi from the port of Piraeus increase during the summer.
The ferry connecting the island with Rhodes is constant throughout the year, which is why many choose to also reach Rhodes by plane and then go by boat to Symi. Furthermore, the route Rhodes - Simi doesn’t last more than a half hour.
BEACHES
Simi has several remarkable beaches.
Many are accessible only by sea, so to visit them you need to use a water taxi.
The beach Nos near the port of Symi is quite outstanding. Other beaches worth visiting are Pedi, Nanou, Agios Nikolaos, Nimborio and Agios Vasileios.
