TICKET CANCELLATIONS
TERMS OF CANCELLATIONS on Domestic Lines
From the date of issue of the ticket and up to 14 days before the scheduled departure date: refund of the entire value of the ticket.
From 13 days up to 7 days before the scheduled departure date: refund of 75% of the ticket value.
From 6 days up to 12 hours before the scheduled departure time: refund of 50% of the ticket value.
From 12 hours until the scheduled departure time: the fare is non-refundable.
TERMS OF CANCELLATIONS on the Adriatic Lines
There is no refund for tickets with a special fare.
For tickets with full fare, the following cancellation policy applies to the total cost of the ticket (passengers, accommodation, vehicles, pets, other items, etc.):
10% cancellation (plus the specified fees) up to 30 days before departure
30% cancellation fees (plus the specified fees) from 29 to 7 days before departure
50% cancellation (plus the specified fees) from 6 to 2 days before departure
100% cancellation (plus the specified fees) 1 day or less before departure and in case of no-show
Refunds are made only by the agency where the ticket was issued.
NOTE:
In case of NON-APPEARANCE and in OPEN TICKETS (on both lines) there is no refund.
SPECIAL FARE tickets (eg Early Booking) are subject to special cancellation terms.
OPEN DATE TICKETS
These tickets are valid for one year from the date of travel if indicated. If not, they are valid for one year from the date of issue.
DISCOUNTS ON DOMESTIC LINES
DISCOUNTS FOR SPECIAL PASSENGER CATEGORIES
Children up to 4 years old
Free in financial position.
50% discount on bed (in all places). The bed discount is only valid if accompanied by an adult in the same cabin.
Children from 4-16 years old
50% discount on all seats. Children traveling in a cabin must be accompanied by an adult.
The discount is included in the fares of the family offer "Family Offers" for International Lines (Greece / Italy).
Students
(Universities, Military Schools, TEI, Open University, Schools of Security Corps, Universities Abroad, Holders of International Student Identity ISIC)
50% discount in financial position and in VIP position.
30% discount on bed (except LUX position).
20% discount on motorcycles or cars, if the beneficiary travels.
Note:
The beneficiaries of the above discounts must present the relevant proof of the right to discount both at the issuance of tickets and at check-in (student pass, certificate of marital status, etc.).
People with Special Needs - Blind and their Companions (with a disability rate of 80% or more and certification with a document from the competent body that they need an escort)
50% discount on all positions except LUX
50% discount on the attendant in all positions except LUX
The discount is also valid for disabled cars. their cars, if the beneficiary travels.
Note:
In each case a discount is granted, the highest in percentage.
The beneficiaries of the above discounts must present the relevant supporting document, both when issuing the ticket and when boarding the ship.
DISCOUNTS ON INTERNATIONAL LINES
30% discount on the return ticket
Prerequisite is the simultaneous issuance of return and return tickets.
50% discount for children aged 4 to 12 years
The discount is valid on the selected fare. Children traveling in cabins must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 4 travel free of charge as long as they do not occupy an air-conditioned bed or seat.
20% discount for students - young up to 26 years old
The discount is valid for trips with or without the car. their car (cat. 1) or their motorcycle in all seating categories except LUX cabins. Students must present their student ID or International ISIC Student ID upon check-in before departure.
10% family offer. The discount is valid for 3 people or more, all year round in all categories of passenger and vehicle seats, provided that all tickets are included in the same reservation.
Note: The beneficiaries of the above discounts must present the relevant proof of the right to discount both when issuing tickets and at check-in.
DELAY - CANCELLATION OF SCHEDULE
The Company is not responsible for any delay or cancellation of the route, due to deviation or non-observance of a normal course due to adverse weather conditions or orders of the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy, or the Port Authorities as well as reasons of force majeure.
In case of cancellation or interruption of scheduled itineraries due to events that are beyond the control of the Company, the company's liability is limited to the return of the ticket price to the passenger, if he informs the passenger (a) one week before the scheduled departure time for domestic lines and (b) fifteen days in advance for international lines.
LOSS OF TICKETS
In case of loss of the ticket the passenger must inform the agency that issued the ticket or the Company.
PASSENGER - VEHICLE TICKETS
According to the International Convention SOLAS, the Presidential Decree 23/99 of the Greek state, the Community Directive 98/41 and the regulations and instructions of the Port Authorities, at the time of booking it is mandatory to disclose the following information: Surname, Name, Gender, Characteristics age (Adult - Child - Infant), Vehicle type and Registration number (when traveling vehicle). Nationality, Place and Date of Birth, ID / Passport Number and Telephone Number must also be entered. Passengers with special needs are advised to state this when booking seats. Passenger contact details: When issuing tickets, passengers are advised to notify the issuing agency with their telephone number (preferably mobile) so that they are notified in case of delay, cancellation or cancellation of the ship's route. In case the passenger does not wish to disclose contact details, the company is not responsible for not informing him in case of delay, cancellation or cancellation of the ship's route.
UNACCOMPANIED MINOR CHILD
Minors who have not reached the age of 15 without an escort are not allowed to be transported. Unaccompanied minors who have reached the age of 15 (15 to 18 years old) are allowed to be transported, subject to the submission of a responsible statement by the parents that they allow and consent to travel.
COVID POLICY
DOMESTIC LINE
According to the Legislative Content Act (Government Gazette 84 / Α / 13-4-2020, article 65), tickets with a travel date from 25/02/2020 to 31/10/2020 can be replaced with the issuance of a Credit Note (VOUCHER / OPEN TICKET), lasting 18 months from the original date of travel.
INTERNATIONAL LINE
Based on regional, national and international decrees and decisions issued to combat the spread of Covid-19, our maritime connections have been closed for the movement of passengers starting from different dates, with a gradual and differentiated restart based on the destination.
On the website (Setting Sail Safely) you will always find up-to-date government regulations for individual destinations.
Under Italian law, passengers get back the full amount of the ticket, which has already been paid and has not been used due to the coronavirus, by issuing a coupon valid for 18 months, which the customer can request within 30 days of end of the travel ban.
If the new ticket has a higher value than the previous one, the customer will pay the fare difference.
More specifically, the Covid coupon has a duration of 18 months and can be used for any available for sale sea routes of Minoan Lines or Grimaldi Lines.
After 18 months from the issue, for unused coupons, you can receive a refund of the amount paid within fourteen days from their expiration date.
