Since 2013, we connect the islands of the Saronic Gulf with Piraeus and with each other on a daily basis.

With more than 50 years of experience in this sea route, our foremost concern is the services and support we provide to the islands’ permanent residents and professionals, as well as the numerous visitors that make these trips all year round. Throughout the constant evaluation and improvement of our business and the on-deck experience, we are your faithful co-travellers 365 days a year, in journeys that are easy and straightforward, as well as enjoyable and enthralling.

Fleet

The Saronic Ferries fleet consists of 4 vessels:

PHIVOS:
The Car Passenger Ferry PHIVOS has an overall length of 100 m and capacity for 120 cars and 1200 passengers. She was completely refurbished over a twelve-month period, until July 2005 when she commenced trading under the Nova Ferries brand. Passengers are accommodated in two internal decks. There are five separate lounge areas, 3 bars as well as plenty of open deck space with seating arrangement for those who wish to seat outside or those carrying pets. Passenger embarkation via escalator from the aft port (left) side of the vessel is viable for all passengers including those with disabilities.

ACHAEOS:
Built in 2007, Achaeos is a modern, hi-tech, double-ended ferry with luxurious passenger areas reminiscent of those found in cruise ships, featuring a maximum capacity of 1000 passengers and 140 cars. Cars are loaded / unloaded in two decks and in forward manner, ensuring maximum comfort and safety. Passengers board the vessel via two electrical escalators. The vessel complies fully with boarding requirements for elderly or disabled passengers.

APOLLON HELLAS:
Built in 1990, Apollon Hellas is a Ro-Pax Ferry of 91.80 m LOA and a maximum capacity of 1380 passengers and 100 cars. Passengers are accommodated on two decks. The upper deck also features an external snack bar and seating, under a sun roof.

POSEIDON HELLAS:
Built in 1998, with an overall length of 86 m, Poseidon Hellas is a conventional ferry with loading/unloading platforms at both ends, meaning drivers always move forward during embarkation/disembarkation. The vessel has a maximum capacity of 1300 passengers and 74 cars. There is also plenty of external seating available (covered and uncovered).

Useful Information

Vessels depart from Gate E8, Central Port of Piraeus.

From the Electric Railway Station of Piraeus passengers must walk left (facing the sea) along the harbour road, Akti Posidonos, and at the first big junction (abt. 500m) cross on the opposite side of the road, reaching our passenger Ticket Kiosk. For those coming by car or bike, heading towards Piraeus Port on Posidonos Avenue, they should head down Gounari Street and at the end of the road make a right turn followed immediately by a left turn at the first traffic light. They should then follow the signs for GATE 8, leading to the Vehicle Ticket Kiosk.

For those using the bus routes,the nearest stations are "Akti Posidinos" and "Platia Karaiskaki (Karaiskaki Sq.)".
