Hellenic Seaways
The Hellenic Seaways was founded and became active in the Greek market in February 1999.
At the present day it has got to be the largest Greek shipping company with more than 30 ships.
The company's fleet consists of conventional ships and high-speed hydrofoils.
The Ships carry out services to more than 34 Greek islands, covering ports in the Cyclades, the Northeastern Aegean Sea, the south east Aegean, Crete, the Saronic Gulf and the Sporades.
The ferries and speedboats of Hellenic Seaways depart from the ports of Rafina and Piraeus, serving travelers that are travelling towards Tinos, Syros, Mykonos, Serifos, Sifnos, Paros, Naxos, Ios, Milos and Santorini.
It also links the port of Piraeus to Heraklion, Crete, and from Heraklion towards Ios, Santorini, Paros and Santorini.
With its ships, the company serves the major destinations of the North Aegean departing from the port of Piraeus to the port of Ikaria, Samos, Chios and Lesvos.
They also connect the ports of Agios Konstantinos and Volos, Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos.
Fleet
The Hellenic Seaways fleet consists of the cruisers Highspeed 1-5, Flyingcat 4-6 and 6 Flyingdolphins.
The Flyingcat and Flyingdolphins do not accept cars.
The ferries of Hellenic Seaways are:
Nisos Mykonos, Nisos Chios , Ariadne, Artemis, Nefeli, Pegasus Express, Express Santorini, Poseidon Hellas, Apollo Hellas.
It also has five cargo ships : the Hellenic Voyager, Hellenic Carrier, Hellenic Trader, Hellenic Sailor and Hellenic Master.

Hellenic Seaways passengers are advised to be at the departure gate of the port at least half an hour before the departure and if the passenger is traveling with a vehicle it is advised to be there at least 1 hour earlier.
